[:sl]Aleix Segura Vendrell iz Španije je 28.2.2016 v Barceloni postavil nov Guinessov rekord v statični apnei. S predhodnim dihanjem čistega kisika je pod vodo zdržal 24 minut in tri sekunde, ter s tem podrl rekord, ki ga je od leta 2014 držal Hrvat Goran Čolak s časom 23:01.

Aleix je sicer specialist za statično apneo, ki je v Beogradu junija 2015 na zadnjem svetovnem prvenstvu zmagal s časom 9min 35sek, ter na kvalifikacijah pred tem postavil rekord svetovnih prvenstev z izrednim rezultatom 10min 7sek.

[:en]Aleix Segura Vendrell from Spain has set a new Guiness World record in static apnea in Barcelona on 28th of February 2016. He breathed pure oxygen before the dive and remained underwater for 24 minutes and 3 seconds and broke the record held by Croatian Goran Čolak since 2014 with a time of 23 minutes and 1 second.

Aleix is a specialist for static apnea who won the last world championship in Belgrade in June 2015 with a time of 9min 35s, after setting an overall record during qualifications with an outstanding result of 10min 7sek.
